Google co-founder Sergey Brin, worth $94 billion, has hired a private temporary judge to preside over his divorce from Nicole Shanahan, with who he has been married for three years.
According to Business Insider, his reason was irreconcilable differences, noting that the two owned joint assets that would be divided in court proceedings, which are to be finalized.
The filing states that all issues related to the property rights or obligations of the parties will be decided by binding arbitration under a written agreement between the parties.
In addition, Brin is seeking joint custody of their 2-year-old daughter. He is not requesting spousal support from Shanahan and is asking her not to receive it either.
