Pankaj Udhas Passes Away,  at the age of 72. Ghazal Singer Pankaj Udhas, is no more. On Monday 26th February 2024, veteran Ghazal Singer died, from Manoj Bajpayee to Shilpa Shetty, these stars paid tribute to this legendary singer’s demise. 

It is with great sadness that we share this news of the passing of renowned ghazal singer Pankaj Udhas. On, February 26, 2024, He was 72 years old. Due to prolonged illness, Udhas breathed his last in a Mumbai ( India) Hospital.

At around 4:14 pm today sudden news broke in the media house,  that Pank Udhas is no more. After there was total silence and entire Bollywood, Tollywood, industry mourned. Film stars are paying tribute to him on various social media. 

Pankaj, known for his soulful voice and poignant storytelling through ghazals, leaves behind a rich legacy in Indian music. Throughout his entire career, he captivated audiences with his captivating performances and meaningful lyrics.

Pankaj Udhas’s family members confirmed his death

Pankaj Udhas’s death was also confirmed by his family members,  Singer’s daughter Nayaab Udhas shared a post on Instagram.  She wrote  – “With a heavy heart and great sadness, we have to inform all of you that Padmashree Pankaj Udhas has passed away on 26 February 2024 due to prolonged illness.”

Though the exact cause of his death remains unknown at this moment, we shall mourn at this time. While writing this news on our desk, we are feeling more perplexed.   His family and friends are undoubtedly experiencing a significant loss.

Paying tributes and condolences from fellow artists and fans have already begun to pour in on social media, reflecting the profound impact he had on the music industry and countless individuals.

We also offer our deepest condolences to his family, friends, and fans during at this difficult time. May his soul Rest in Peace.
